Restorative practice, academic inquisitiveness, and critical thinking work for the students who pass through my classrooms because regardless of the curriculum I'm using, I believe students enter into our teaching spaces holistically and it's our duty to support the student in their development of self.

By i
ncorporating my students’ interests, social lives, and learning habits into daily coursework, and by engaging students in co-evaluation and inquiry practices, I routinely model my own pedagogical reflection for students. This growth mindset helps my students master the academic content, while growing as caring and conscientious citizens.
