Inquiry-Based - Interdisciplinary - Holistic Well-being
Restorative practice, academic inquisitiveness, and critical thinking work for the students who pass through my classrooms because regardless of the curriculum I'm using, I believe students enter into our teaching spaces holistically and it's our duty to support the student in their development of self.
By incorporating my students’ interests, social lives, and learning habits into daily coursework, and by engaging students in co-evaluation and inquiry practices, I routinely model my own pedagogical reflection for students. This growth mindset helps my students master the academic content, while growing as caring and conscientious citizens.
I invite you to explore the pages of this Professional Portfolio and to connect them to your own experiences with inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary studies, and holistic well-being.
Enjoy the life-long learning journey, as I am!
